Original Ad for The Great Gatsby Found in Princetonian from 1925
Thx to editor Jason Feifer who sent us this pic of an old ad for Fitzgerald’s THE GREAT GATSBY from an old copy of the Princetonian that Jason was leafing through. Would love to know how / why / where Jason ended up flipping through an old copy of the Princetonian, so if you’re out there, Jason, let us know!
Very cool:

My pleasure! I was doing research for a Fast Company story, though I can’t say much more about that right now. Very cool. I teach this book every year, and this year I’m thinking about having the students do research on some element of the book–lingo, music, cars, advertising, fashion, publishing, etc.–I’ll bookmark this page as a resource. Thanks!
