Greetings, literarians. On this sunny Sunday morning, we’re eager to be joining the New York Writer’s Coalition at the Mark Morris Dance Center for a day of literary endeavors. A fellow writer friend asked us to stop by and blog about the day’s events, so here we are.

The New York Writer’s Coalition is a Brooklyn-based non-profit whose mission is to give oportunities to writers who might not otherwise have the opportunity to write. Today, writers from all five boroughs have gathered for an event called WRITE YOUR A$$ OFF! There will be workshops, writing prompts, plenty of writing space, and a lecture by Ira Glass of NPR’s “This American Life” (a personal fave of TLM).

This stay tuned, writers, for several updates throughout the day. This is an important organization and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.
