And now for today: le jour de l’amour. The day that men and women dread (unless they’re getting lucky). The expectations always seem to be too heavy, and so the Literary Lady has taken to the books to search for inspiration. In A Moveable Feast, Hemingway once wrote,

“If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast,”

With this in mind, the Literary Lady has planned a “moveable feast” of her own. Hopping from cozy bar, to hole-in-the-wall bar, to creperie, to historic cafe, the Literary team will spend little, drink lots, and walk the cobbled storied streets of the Village, soaking in all that New York has to offer. Because, after all, no matter where you are, this day is about love, and what better way to celebrate it then by making the main event each other.
