What is Epistemology, and why should we care? The word is derived (of course) from those feisty greeks and the words ἐπιστήμη (epistēmē), meaning “knowledge, science”, and λόγος (logos), meaning “study of”, but what does this really mean for up-and-coming Literary Men? Let’s break this down into the following three questions:

  • What is knowledge?
  • How is knowledge acquired?
  • How do we know what we know?
  • What is the meaning of the following image?
  • Is it immediately obvious what kind of beer bottle that is, and if so, does this mean that truth or knowledge is knowable?
Sweet Lord, What Does It Mean?
